Our Favorite Home Bar Construction Projects

Looking Back: Our Favorite Home Bar Construction Projects

Building a custom home or condo comes with many advantages – like being able to add unique touches that truly set your residence apart. One of the more popular requests we receive is for custom in-home bars. These are great projects for both new homes and for renovations, regardless of the size, age, or location of the property.

As it happens, we’ve been building both commercial and residential luxury home bars for close to 30 years now. Over the decades, we’ve satisfied a wide range of requests and requirements for luxury home bars from all types of clients.

Below are our top three recent projects to get you inspired for your future bar. As you’ll soon see, custom bars for homes don’t necessarily have to be tacky or sports-themed (though we do love our New England Patriots). When it comes to personalization, our high-end design-build process means that very little is off the menu.

Custom-Built Wine Cellar & Bar

The wine cellar stacked with bottles of wine and a wet bar

Located on Arlington Street, overlooking Boston Common in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood, this condo’s intensive remodeling project found our team utilizing a plethora of colors, materials, and styles to bring our clients’ vision to life. While each room has its own unique and memorable properties, the 100% custom-built wine cellar is a stand out for both residents and guests. Built using the finest millworking materials in New England, the cellar is a dream-come-true for any discerning oenophile, and its full wet bar is the perfect addition to bring it all together.

Legacy-Worthy Home Bar Construction

Custom home remodel in Cape Cod

This highly collaborative project found our team working with craftsmen from all over the globe to construct this legacy-style home complete with three out-buildings, all of which is sprawled across an impressive 15,000 square foot residence. One of the many highlights of this project is the basement entertainment space featuring a pool table, large-format TV, oak flooring, and–of course–a full bar. Put together, it makes for a perfect all-in-one entertainment-based retreat on the bottom floor of this ornately designed Osterville, Cape Cod home.

Transitional Home Renovation with Stylish Custom Bar

Custom Cabinetry

As far as custom home renovations go, it’d be hard to top this one. After a complete reworking of the first floor and basement, we installed custom millwork, upgraded the heating and cooling systems, and added many other new features to help modernize the property. Meanwhile, the kitchen bar received a brand new, fully integrated wine storage area which manages to turn heads despite seamlessly blending in with the rest of the cabinetry. It’s a perfect example of how even the most subtle details can help transform a room while still exuding nuance, tastefulness, and a refined sense of style.
