Located on Main Street in the heart of Wolfeboro, NH, this newly constructed home perfectly blends modern design with local charm. Just steps from Lake Winnipesaukee and downtown, the residence replaces a previous structure that was no longer sound, yet thoughtfully honors its legacy through form and detail.
The new home maintains the recognizable shape of the original while introducing a third floor that captures beautiful views of the lake. A striking black barn volume on one side pays homage to the former barn-style garage, creating a seamless connection between past and present. A spacious front porch extends the living area outdoors, offering a welcoming space to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
Inside, the open-concept interior combines contemporary finishes with timeless craftsmanship. The kitchen features rich, dark cabinetry paired with a warm, stained-wood island, a dramatic stone backsplash, high-end appliances, and a distinctive brass-accented hood. The adjacent living room soars with vaulted ceilings and connects to a lofted lounge above that includes a pool table for casual gatherings. A sleek, stone-clad fireplace anchors the space, balancing sophistication and comfort.
A custom open staircase, crafted with steel and wood, allows natural light to cascade through all three levels, enhancing the airy, connected feel of the home.
