Project Notes

Building on the success of Lola 41 in Nantucket and Lola 42 in Seaport, Marco Coelho and the Lola Hospitality Holdings team embarked on a new venture by introducing Lola Burger, an upscale burger joint. The aim was to expand their culinary footprint and offer a distinctive dining experience to patrons.

To create an ambiance that stands out, we incorporated several unique design elements throughout Lola Burger. The foundation of a polished concrete floor served as the canvas, complemented by Venetian plaster walls that matched seamlessly. Vibrant and colorful light fixtures added a playful touch, creating an inviting atmosphere. A captivating fish tank and a large custom mural further contributed to the overall aesthetic, making the dining space visually engaging.

One notable feature designed to elevate the dining experience was the installation of a glass wall system, providing diners with a rare glimpse into the inner workings of a commercial kitchen. This transparent separation allowed patrons to witness the chefs in action, preparing their meals just a few feet away. This thoughtful addition not only enhanced the sense of transparency but also added a unique interactive dimension to the dining experience, making Lola Burger a standout destination in the upscale burger scene.
